JAPAN Foundation Manila, together with the Embassy of Japan, Shangri-La Plaza Corp. and the University of the Philippines-Film Institute proudly presents "Eiga Sai," a Japanese film festival in celebration of Philippines-Japan Friendship month.
The list of films available are: The Summit: Chronicle of Stones; The Chef of South Polar; One Million Yen Girl; Your Friend; Yunagi City, Sakura Country; Summer Days with Coo; Climber's High; Feel the Wind; and Villon's Wife.
Don't worry if you can't understand Nihongo, all films are with English subtitles. It will be shown at Shangri-La Cineplex Cinema, Edsa; Gaisano Grand Citimall, Davao; Ayala Center Cinema 4, Cebu; and UP Film Institute.The best of all, the admission is free! So if you have time, don't hesitate to watch at least one film. I was able to watch Departures and it's a wonderful masterpiece.
